My first real rc rockcrawling experience.

Well Ill admit it, im hooked, i didnt think that i would fall that easy but rc rockcrawling has gotten me by the horns. Im about a month in to this new hobby/sport/lifestyle whatever you want to call it. I was lucky enough to find a killer deal on the axial artr. Ive totaled my cost of my rig and as of right now my total cost is less than 200 dollars. Not your average situation since most people spend on average of 500 dollars just to get a basic rockcrawler going. I traded straight across so the actual truck didnt cost me anything. The two hundred dollars is just in basic upgrades. Here are some pics from the event. Note that the rocks are meaner and in most cases steeper than they appear..........

hey guys, good news, I found a place that would be perfect.
It was previously a warehouse, and so it has thousands of square feet of nice flat concrete.
Perfect for indoor racing. I already talked to the owner and he is very supportive. Im working on the details. Outside the facility is 6 acres of undeveloped dirt. This would be great for the 2 tracks..
Like i said the owner is supportive and im working on the city approval.... i will be letting you guys know...I still need help with management of the club... whos going to step up??

I wanna start a RC RACING CLUB In st.george..

Ok guys. Im sick of not having any specific place to race or even to just get together and bash.
Im probably like you, and are constantly asking the hobby places if there is a group or club organized yet, and the answer is always the same (NO)
So here it is, what i consider the beginning of a rc club.
of course the flyers already have their club.
im talking about a onroad/offroad car/truck club.

Im going to need lots of help!!!

I need to find a place to make two tracks.
So if you know where let me know or if you own land and would like to volunteer it.

I need two to three people to help me organize the club.
If you would like to be a part of the presidency of club let me know and i will tell you what to do.

Theres lots of work to be done so for now I need people to help me organize and a place to start making track preparations.

Please feel free to ask questions about me and about my idea.

Even if you cant help in any way, please give me feedback on the things you would like to see in the club or on the track.....I will try my best to make this as close to what everyone wants as possible.

My goal is to prepare/build the club and track this winter so that by summer 09 we will have organized races in....
1/10 scale stadium truck(gas/electric)
1/8 scale truck (monster truck/buggy)
Onroad racing whatever size oval/street/drift
1/18 scale (whatever you have)

anysize rockcrawler competitions in prepared courses.\
the onroad racing will be at cooperative businesses who have donated their parking lots.

sound like fun....huh..

like i said please help us.
I have full cooperation from both hobby stores and theyre in standby to help with whatever they can...
